All of our courses have one starting point- the objectives of the actual participants, each of whom will undergo needs analysis prior to the course starting so that content can be tailored to improve the actual skills that they need.

Communicating professionally in English
Improve the skills required for professional communication with a focus on the context of higher education including writing or presenting reports, choosing the correct register in emails, engaging in small talk and participating in meetings.
By the end of the course participants will have improved:
their communication and interpersonal skills in the context of third level education
their confidence in dealing with situations where English is required
their accuracy in English related to tasks they have to complete day to day

Academic Writing
Improve the techniques and strategies required to write effectively in English, paying attention to style and register, as well as structure and coherence. We will improve actual samples of the work you do as well as give opportunities for peer review.
By the end of the course participants will have improved:
their ability to choose the correct register and tone for academic writing
the structure of their writing including conventions surrounding paragraphing and referencing
their accuracy in written English
Added value of the mobility:
Participants will improve their ability to write in an academic style as well as have the opportunity to peer review classmate’s work.
